Essex Pension Fund is seeking to appoint an investment manager for a global property mandate of approximately £250m.

The council has issued a tender for a single manager for the mandate, which could include up to 20% in real estate debt or listed real estate.

It said that the proposed solution must not have any direct allocation to properties in the areas of the council or those of Thurrock or Southend-on-Sea.
