These questions were explored in Room151’s Technology, Data and Finance Roundtable, held in Manchester during LATIF North in early March, and sponsored by Lloyds.
Attendees discussed case studies of how automation or new technology had helped them so far, where the biggest pinch points were in authorities’ processes, what immediate use cases there are for local government, and whether lessons could be learnt from looking at the private sector.
