Breckland left under par by golf club sale
0Breckland Council is set to sell a golf club after investing £9m to keep it in business.
The Eastern Daily Press revealed the council is selling Barnham Broom Golf and Country Club to the current tenant for £6.5m.
The council bought the business in 2006 and has since spent £2m on refurbishments.
Breckland said funds from the sale would be reinvested in other properties as part of a “refreshed investment strategy”.
