The government has urged councils to bid from grants to improve public services through digital technology.

Grants of up to £350,000 will be invested in projects from rounds two and three of the government’s £7.5m Local Digital Fund.

Ideas highlighted by local government minister Luke Hall include using digital assistants to help older people and better databases to manage repairs.
