LGPS pool London Collective Asset Vehicle (LCIV) has appointed former Camden finance director Mike O’Donnell as its new and permanent chief executive.
O’Donnell will replace Mark Hyde-Harrison, who has held the position on an interim basis since December 2017.

He is expected to join London CIV on 4 March, according to a statement from LCIV.

O’Donnell said “I am excited to be joining the CIV.
“Good progress has been made to date and I look forward to contributing to developing the model further and delivering further benefits for London boroughs.”
Lord Kerslake, LCIV Chair said “Mike is an experienced finance director who understands the needs of London CIV’s client shareholders well. We will benefit from his wider pension and fund management experience as a non-executive director at the London Pension Fund Authority (LPFA).
“I look forward to working with him in further developing the London CIV.”

In 2017, O’Donnell stepped down from his role as finance director after 12 years at London Borough of Camden.
He then spent nine months covering the chief finance officer role at Birmingham City Council.
