PWLB borrowing at £412m in April
0Local authorities borrowed £412m from the Public Works Loan Board in April, down from the £1bn taken out in March. Wolverhampton City Council was the top borrower last month, taking £50m over 25 years at a rate of 2.53%. Buckinghamshire County Council borrowed £38m, while both Swansea City and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne City borrowed £30m.
