Scottish councils turn corner on funding
0Scottish councils are set to receive a 0.3% real terms increase in the local government revenue settlement between 2017–18 and 2018–19, according to figures from the Scottish Parliament. A briefing released by the parliament said the rise follows a fall of 7.1% in funding between 2013–14 and 2017–18.
In real terms, the local government revenue settlement, as a proportion of the Scottish Government revenue budget, decreased by 1.9 percentage points between 2013–14 and 2017–18.
