Spelthorne to enter central London commercial property market
0Spelthorne District Council is close to buying two buildings in London for £300m, according to The Times newspaper.
According to a report, the council is set to pay £140m for 100 Cheapside in the City of London.
In addition, it is in talks to spend £160m on an office in the Nine Elms development in Battersea, which will become the headquarters of Penguin Random House.
