Whiteman and Dawes receive New Year honours

Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy chief executive Rob Whiteman has been made a commander of the order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2020 New Year honours list.

Whiteman has received the honour in recognition of his services to public sector financial management.

Also on the list, Melanie Dawes, permanent secretary at the Ministry for Housing Communities and Local Government, has been made a dame commander of the Order of the Bath.
