Boost for LPPI as Dorset and Somerset announce preference

Somerset and Dorset Pension Funds, two of the five remaining orphan funds, have confirmed their pooling preference, further raising the prospect of a Brunel LPPI merger.

The announcement means that at least four of the remaining Brunel funds – Avon, Devon, Dorset and Somerset – will join LPPI. Buckinghamshire, Cornwall
