Surrey under pressure to divest from companies funding war in Gaza

Woking Borough Council’s Cllr Ann-Marie Barker has written an open letter to Surrey Pension Fund raising the fund’s exposure to the violence in Gaza a matter of “serious ethical concern” regarding the investment strategy of the fund.

Barker highlighted that there are “growing concerns” about investments that have direct or indirect links to the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the Palestinian
