In March this year, Bell delivered his first speech as pensions minister at Pensions UK (then known as PLSA), arguing that “consolidation was inevitable”.

LGPS allocations to UK plc have been at the forefront of a growing debate with the government nudging the scheme to invest more in stocks at home.
