Local authority finance officers, directors, accountants and treasury managers are to gather in Manchester on 3 March for Room151’s LATIF North Conference.
A packed agenda will feature sessions on partnership working and driving regional economic growth; finance directors and treasury management strategy panels; local government reorganisation; and creating finance teams that are fit for the future.
Expert speakers from across the local government sector and from a range of local authorities will contribute to the discussion, with the conference taking place at the elegant The Midland Hotel.
Free to attend for local authority finance officers, the conference also features evening drinks and dinner, as well as other networking opportunities – with the interactive Networking Roundtables back by popular demand.
The event also includes an exhibition of key suppliers to the sector, and a technology, data and finance roundtable.
The roundtable aims to look beyond the AI hype and discuss the role technology and innovation can play in transforming public service delivery – both on and off the record. It offers a chance for finance directors to come together with chief information officers and directors of transformation along with key private sector partners to share learning and best practice.
CCLA is the lead sponsor of LATIF North 2026, with TechnologyOne and Lloyds sponsoring the event.
