North Somerset to seek EFS because of Fair Funding Review impact

A reduction in government funding of about £17m as a result of the Fair Funding Review is the “main reason” North Somerset Council is in discussions with the government over the possibility of receiving Exceptional Financial Support (EFS) in 2026/27.
