Government launches Fair Funding Review ahead of 2026 rollout

The government has launched the long-awaited Fair Funding Review, marking a significant redistribution in grant funding towards areas that are “more deprived”, yet ministers have “ruled out” reform to council tax and kicked SEND issues further down the road.
